Dr. Mimi Quynh-Huong Nguyen
Dr. Mimi Quynh-Huong Nguyen is an associate dentist at Lighthouse Family Dentistry in Annapolis, Maryland, where she is dedicated to providing thoughtful, compassionate, and patient-centered dental care. She believes that every patient deserves to feel heard, respected, and fully informed about their oral health. With a warm chairside manner and a strong commitment to education, Dr. Nguyen strives to make dentistry more approachable for patients and families, especially in a healthcare environment that can often feel complicated by insurance, paperwork, and delays.
Dr. Nguyen earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. During her senior year, she was selected as one of four Diamond Scholars, allowing her to train alongside Advanced Education in General Dentistry residents in the clinic. She is also a member of the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Nguyen’s approach aligns with Lighthouse Family Dentistry’s belief in second chances, service, and helping patients move forward with confidence in their oral health. She is known for explaining treatment clearly, helping patients feel welcome, and creating a dental experience built on trust, comfort, and communication. She is skilled in restorative and cosmetic dentistry, helping patients achieve healthy, natural-looking smiles that support both function and confidence.
Her passion for service extends beyond the office. Dr. Nguyen has volunteered at Mission of Mercy events, including oral surgery service opportunities for patients in need. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with her husband and their two cats.
